In this workshop SEAQ committee members will present information about teaching strategies that develop understandings of the concepts underlying the forthcoming Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship. There will be a focus on concepts appropriate to all Year levels (e.g. democracy, justice), and an opportunity for teachers in Year level or Band groups to apply  the strategies to their own level.

There is a basement carpark and street parking nearby. Translink bus routes 687, 688 and 689 loop around this area from Petrie station. Get off near  the Shopping Centre and walk to the Community Centre.

Register at 8.30 for 12.30 start

This event is a repeat for north side teachers.
